ABOUT MELANIE MANN

Melanie Mann is a long time leader and innovator in the real estate development market with an award winning portfolio. She is committed to providing the powerful combination of comprehensive planning and architectural integrity. Recognized as a women’s business leader by three of Kansas City’s top magazines—the Kansas City Business Journal, KC Magazine, and KC Business Magazine— Melanie is the founder and owner of Mann Development Company.

Since completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Missouri, Melanie has served on the MARC Sustainable Places Policy committee, the Urban Land Institute Advisory Board, the Urban Land Institute Young Leader Mentorship program, the Johnson County Reappraisal Advisory committee, the Board of Directors for the Lyric Opera, and the steering committee for the Greater Kansas City Home Builders Association.

Her lessons in leadership were learned on the tennis court at the University of Arizona where Melanie lettered all four years and was a member of the Arete Society, a scholastic and athletic honorary.
